Plan Your Visit
There’s more than one way to arrange a visit with Coyne Vet–after all, no two appointments are the same! We offer several options to support your needs: You can schedule a routine wellness visit; book an online visit so you can chat with your vet from your living room; check-in for your nervous pet’s appointment using our Virtual Waiting Room; or do an advance check-in for your pet’s walk-in appointment.

Have an Online Visit With Your Vet
We recognize that telemedicine is a vital tool for helping you get the care you need for your pet especially during the coronavirus pandemic.
Due to the virtual nature of telemedicine, it can only be used in situations where there is already a strong veterinarian-client-patient relationship. This means you must be a current client of our hospital and your pet must be current on their annual exam. Furthermore, not all medical cases can be solved with a virtual vet visit.
Each consultation will incur an exam fee prior to connecting with a veterinarian. Telemedicine and payment can be done via text at phone]. If your pet requires a prescription or further testing within our hospital, these services will incur an additional charge.
Here is a list of appropriate cases for telemedicine:
- Sneezing, coughing, diarrhea, ear infections, or other minor symptoms
- Behavioral changes such as scratching more often than usual or lethargy
- Changes in gait, such as limping
- Discussions regarding ongoing care
In the event of a pet emergency, do not use telemedicine, but call our animal hospital directly at (219) 763-3311.
Check-In With Our Virtual Waiting Room
We know that waiting in the lobby isn’t always ideal, especially for nervous pets. That’s why we have the Virtual Waiting Room! We’ll notify you about current wait times. Once your pet is next in line to see the veterinarian, we’ll send you a notice to head on over. Our team will have a room ready and waiting for you and your pet!
Disclaimer: Wait times are subject to change. If your pet is experiencing a medical emergency, please seek immediate veterinary help and bring your pet to the facility.
