  • Ovulation timing
  • C-sections
  • Litter evaluation

Timing is Everything

As a professional breeder, you know how important it is to get the timing right. This is especially critical for females that have been impregnated via artificial insemination, which has a lower success rate than natural breeding in which the male is present.

To find out when the female will begin ovulating, we need to conduct progesterone testing. This procedure enables us to measure the female’s progesterone levels and help breeders set a breeding schedule for their animals. Once the female’s levels have reached a specific value, they will be ready to breed.
